Should Pettite Come to Citifield?

OK, so firstly let me say Andy Pettitte bothers me: he is a scary looking dude, he does those eery commercials for the Jesus Christ Church and he is a Yankee. Oh yeah and a steroid user too....but let's face it, he ain't too bad a pitcher. I would prefer Derek Lowe over Andy, or even Wolf. But we all know he can pitch in NY and he is a lefty and supposedly citifield should be a pitcher's park and well, wouldn't it be a nice "F you" to the Yankees if he came to flushing?

Don't get me wrong, i'm not campaigning too hard for this and I won't be really that happy if it works out, but offer him 2 years 22 million (if Lowe doesn't want to come) and throw him in the number three spot. Let's be real: as good as John Mainecould be, he isn't exactly a proven guy yet, and while I believe Pelfrey is the real deal, I fear that too much pressure being put on him could turn him a bit bring in a veteran guy like Pettitte, watch the Yankee fans squirm and pencil in 14 wins.....this pretty much goes against how i want the Mets to do business, but winning is winning and if it means going against some of your principles, well maybe you have to, unless we want to choke again...third year's a charm!

And why not bring in Manny too? exceopt for all the reasons NOT to....
